MATT BEVERLY

Matt Beverly is Head of Asset Management for The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC, leading strategies focused on optimizing portfolio performance, creating additional platform value through capital allocation and supporting long-term investment objectives. With more than 20 years of experience in asset management, investments, development, leasing, and portfolio optimization, he brings a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence across complex real estate portfolios. Mr. Beverly oversees a $16.0 billion portfolio comprised mainly of commercial, retail, self-storage, multifamily, student housing and senior living assets.

Prior to joining Inland, Mr. Beverly served as Senior Vice President of Transformco Properties, where he led value-creation initiatives for the former Sears and Kmart real estate portfolio. Previously, he was Chief Executive Officer of Cullinan Properties and President of the East Division for Retail Properties of America, overseeing an 8 million-square-foot mixed-use portfolio with a $500 million development pipeline. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Investments at General Growth Properties, executing more than $4.4 billion in acquisition, disposition, and joint venture transactions across the U.S. and internationally.

Mr. Beverly holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois and MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
